This event to mark Dublin History Festival will present and explore Michael Angelo Hayes’ Installation of the Prince of Wales as Knight of St.Patrick, in St. Patricks Cathedral in 1868 – an amazing painting in Farmleigh Library depicting this famous occasion. Focus will be on the famous ladies amongst elite guests at the ceremony – including Princess Alexandra, Lady Jane Wilde and a Guinness Girl.
